GEORGE’S® Margarita Chicken
1/2 cup GEORGE’S® Margarita Mix
1/4 cup tequila
1/4 cup olive oil
2 Tb minced cilantro
1 Tb chili powder
1 Tb honey
1-2 garlic cloves or 1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 lbs skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- In a bowl or measuring cup, whisk together all ingredients except chicken.
- Place chicken in a zip-loc bag and pour marinade overtop moving chicken around to coat all sides.
- Place in fridge and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. When ready to cook,remove from marinade and grill over medium heat (350 degrees) for 15-20 min or until the internal temps reads 165 degrees on an instant read thermometer flipping once. Or if cooking on a grill pan (or regular pan), cook 5-8 minutes each side depending on thickness and until no longer pink.
